We Put the "Ph" in Family
At Pharmacists Mutual, we know that a balanced personal life equals a happier employee. Our benefits package includes many perks to help our employees manage their family life, both today and in the future.
Extended Paid Breaks for Nursing Mothers
Supporting our moms with a lactation room and extended breaks makes for happier moms and healthier babies! We hope this relieves some of the stress of being a working mom with a new baby.
Family-Centered Benefits Package
Having the right benefits can bring peace of mind to families. Along with wellness benefits, including Health, Dental, Vision, and Disability, we provide financial benefits such as a 401k with a generous match and life insurance.
Flexible Work Schedules - Hybrid and full Remote work
Flexibility has always ranked as a top benefit at Pharmacists Mutual. Our flexible scheduling helps you create a schedule that works for you, your family, and us.
Foundation Scholarships for Children of Employees
The Pharmacists Mutual Employee Foundation offers a one-time $500 scholarship for your undergraduate college student.
We also offer scholarships to graduate students in the fields of pharmacy or dentistry. Awarding $500 for up to four years of graduate study. With the rising cost of tuition and textbooks, every dollar counts!
Life and Disability Insurance
If the unthinkable should happen, we want to help ease any financial burdens for you or your loved ones. We provide company paid short term and long term disability along with a life insurance benefit of three times your annual salary.
Parental Leave
Supporting our employees during many phases of their life and career is extremely important to Pharmacists Mutual. As part of this, we provide our employees with a generous parental leave benefit covering 12 weeks of leave for the birth and/or adoption of a child. We encourage our employees to enjoy this special time with their new family members and focus on making memories that last a lifetime.
Pharmacists Mutual Employee Foundation
Our employee-funded and managed charitable foundation has contributed over $300,000 to worthy causes in our local communities, as well as to the pharmacy community we serve. We prioritize building strong communities, supporting veteran programs, and supporting the markets we serve.
SHARE Program
SHARE stands for Supportive Help Among Reassuring Employees. This committee of volunteer employees raises money from organized fundraisers throughout the year. The funds raised offer support to employees during times of celebration and times of need.
School Bus Stop
If there's something simple we can do to make our employees' lives easier, we do it. This notion inspired the idea of coordinating with the local school system to make our Algona Home Office a pick-up and drop-off zone for the school buses. If you have kiddos in the area attending school, you can work in office and coordinate this activity to make your life that much easier.
