LIMITS OF LIABILITY AND WHAT WE COVER

Professional Liability - Claims-Made limits of $1 million each claim and $3 million aggregate for providing Pharmacy Technician Services, as allowed by law:

  • Immunizations and Other Drug Administration
  • COVID-19 Testing and Immunizations 
  • Medication Reconciliation Duties
  • Tech-Check-Tech Services
  • Remote Pharmacy-Related Services
    • Filling and Labeling Prescription Bottles
    • Facilitating Prescription Verification
    • Assisting with Patient Counseling
  • Sterile Compounding - Coverage available

License Defense - $250,000 limit for defense of disciplinary action involving your pharmacy technician license, registration, or certification.

HIPAA Claims Defense - $50,000 limit for defense against a HIPAA violation.

Assault - $25,000 limit for medical expense or personal property damaged from an assault against you while at work.

Sexual or Physical Abuse Defense - $50,000 limit for defense against allegations of abuse while providing pharmacy technician services (higher limits available).

Loss of Earnings – up to $750 per day for time away from work at our request.

Legal Fees - $25,000 limit for legal representation for responding to a subpoena or appearing as a witness at a deposition or trial.

Extended Reporting Period – Extended time to report a claim after coverage is cancelled or non-renewed.
